"Playoff Hockey" I'm sorry but a team that looks like it belongs in the peewee leagues with a power play that has a better chance of getting scored on than scoring trying to fall back on a one goal lead and then finally collapsing completely with nine minutes left is not playoff hockey that's just Habs hockey…….. Mcdavid is great but given that kind of time and space like he was on his two game changers is dangerous with the worst players in the league let alone one of the best.
That second goal by McDavid was nice but what they don’t show is the dozen or so attempts by him on the blue line that fail. The opposition just keeps letting him fly up to the blue line like that and eventually he wins.
I am 53 and have been a Hab's fan since the 70's. I have seen lows and highs. The past 5 or so years have made it really hard to keep remaining a Hab's fan. It seems no matter whom they aquire it does no good. All upper management needs to go.

I still highly believe Edmonton could be that team to go to the finals this year. As long as they don’t have another stupid pause before playoffs I think Edmonton can do it this year
I'm very happy for Pulju being able to dive in the core shift action in most of situations. Who would have believed couple of years ago that it is Pulju who establishes himself as reliable and effective NHL player in much more convincing manner that Laine. Laine still has his journey ahead to be able to find himself in core action of the shift. But I believe he will do it too. Not maybe next season but after that it happens. This year there has not been any development with Laine. He keeps on floating or more like surfing. And he was introduced to Tortorella which was a (second) mistake by Kekälainen. Pulju is still somewhat far away from Armia-like game changing board battler and take away champion but that is something he can continue to work on and get better because he has skating power to recover in case of losing battle.
Too many fouls are not called. Cross checking in the small of the back with metal bar like sticks should not be part of any sport. Call head shots slashing and intent to injure are ruining this great game. Fighting is not part of any team sport, why is this brutality allowed in this fast action skilled artistic sport?

This game felt like a playoff game. Everyone looked like they were out for blood. Except for the last 10 minutes. Habs looked totally gassed.
