Was at this game. IF McDavid chose to shoot more he would be even more dangerous. He had the chance to shoot in prime spots and opted for passes that didn’t convert. No question he’s the best player in the league. Lucky to see him skate live a few times now.

The Dallas player made that age old mistake of playing the pass, which of course never came.
If I have any criticism of the NHL these days it's the failure of players to just "take the shot". While there's nothing like a well executed give and go, too many players make that one extra pass that dooms a legitimate scoring chance. Love seeing McDavid assert himself like he did here.
McDavid will get his cup. Might take longer than expected but he'll get it….with Edmonton
