Thx Eddie for interviewing Zach Dooley, it was xlnt! I heard Byfield might have been hirt near the end of the last Reign game. Did you hear about this? Apparently he did not play the last few minutes if the game. I don't expect him to return to the Kings until after Christmas & perhaps after New Year. Next 13 games, with 10 @ home, with some practice times, should have the Kings become more consistent; my guess and hope is 8-3-2.
Kings were Answer to Trivia Question during Islanders Avalanche as last team to Win Stanley Cup 2014 then miss Playoffs in 2015 heh. LA needs to trade for Bjugstad from Arizona to have a legit Center/RW RHS for 3rd line Center that can play PK along with PP too. Winning key faceoffs as they lack the scheme along with players. Hobbits like Lizotte are not helping on PK nor is Mediocre Mikey or 11M Bust Doughty. Maatta is gone so Roy is struggling as Durzi is out of position on the LD often even on the PK. Walker is a bust along with Spence Toby Byng and rest. Quantum Bust should stay in AHL as guy will never make it in NHL with that Hunched over Smallest Stick style. Copley only decent goalie why never pay them 5M or more. I expected he would end up starting a bunch of games one way or another via injuries or poor play. None of the Goalies in Pacific making over 5M are earning their pay all below 900 save percentage even the GAA is in 3's or 4s. Yet guys making less than half like Martin Jones winning games or Skinner to keep competitive.
Those Canada teams especially the Alberta ones underpeforming or I'd worry about Post Season. I think will least get Wild CArd which might be better given record against Central to play Jets or Stars. Edmonton I think will pass them but its unclear what KRaken will do. Calgary will be lucky to make Post Season or Vancouver. I've looked at Crifield stats compared to 4th Overall Evander Kane, 7th Overall Okposo, 11th Overall Iginla its not looking good hehe. HE reminds me of Islanders Sang will likely be out of NHL like him too. There other guys like Duclair, I can see him have a decent year like Okposo then get a big contract with another team. Though really how can somebody score using a stick smaller than Lizotte when 5'6 as dude 6'5 who constantly pulls over net or off puck. Bobblefield needs to change his style use max length stick to have any hope. I would only call up CAlTanic if Quick was injured at this point. Best case he plays well enough can trade retain half salary instead of having to buyout in 3rd year. If not for giving him that 15M contract even 3M a year could have afforded to keep Maatta.
Unless get a legit LHD like Chykrin or Carson Soucy the season will end in first round thumping if retain Playoff position. Mediocre Mikey was -5 against Oilers with Roy -3 can't see Drew making a difference with whats seen on ice this year. Heh claiming guys are emerging is comical. There a reason LAK never made playoffs with Walker along with Roy on blueline it was not until Durzi carried them with Dew on IR among others. Trevor Moore bloated middle 6 contract which prevents team from competing for Stanley Cup. Next will pay another scrub D-man 2 or 3M then wonder why its over a Decade since last Winning Playoff Series. I remember had guy born in California who used to be on Ducks that scored like 20 or 30 but didn't pan out. I don't really like Trevor another undersized over paid player especially having Fiala making 8M in top 6. I can't wait to see same who complain about better player Iafallo making 4M when this scrub is 4.2M hehe. Maybe if PK was top in league instead of bottom 5 or 10 would be happier or more optimistic. QB will be called up for Feb to trot him out for Dustin Brown Night I'm sure or something hehe. Team better without him or celebrating his bogus ENG Hat Trick.
