What? Buddy, what are you on about? If they were that desperate for a 2C, they could use Necas there. They’re NOT moving Jarvis. They’ve gotten hot recently without Aho. They don’t need a Horvat. They need back end help on the third pairing. If they don’t want to do that, why would they touch the lineup? They also don’t have the cap space for Horvat. Pacioretty is coming back within the next 6 weeks. They have less than a 2 mil in space. No to mention, Carolina still needs to re-sign it’s core in the next 3 years. They don’t have the space for Horvat , even extended, in the current climate. This is incredibly lazy looking at Kotkaniemi’s numbers. Any detail watching highlights that there’s no need for a Horvat. He’s a poor fit for Brind’amour who prefers players that have a strong defensive game. If you want to say they need a 2C, fine. Ryan O’Rielly is a far better fit. Plus they could afford him.

I wouldn't mind the Canes trading for Bo Horvat, but Jarvis is untouchable. Vancouver can have our 1st rounder and a decent prospect.
The canes have one 12 out of their last 13 games without their best player, I don’t think they’re looking for any solutions right now.

A lot more than Bo Horvat would be required to move Seth Jarvis out of Carolina. We need the injury bug to stay out of the crease & the 'Canes will be alright.
