  3. HumanSun1

I’m appalled that he isn’t in the Hall !!!

  4. BubbaSpanks

JR on the fence I’m sure one day but not for years

  5. Wild-Masterpiece-630

If only he had a cup, it would be a lock

I think he’s going in eventually

  6. Neon_Sternum

I hate this guy and I don’t remember why

  7. The_Next_Wild_GM

I would put him in my NHLPA ’93 hall of fame

  8. that-bro-dad

Sorry but no. He was very good but frankly doesn’t have the hardware to justify entry

  9. frankrocksjesus

    They retire numbers for less

…it’s an honestly confounding argument. His play, especially early on as an (early-ish) American superstar should have cemented his entrance.

His mouth (and more than a few ridiculous comments) though, may have been something that has concerned the hall at the time of voting.

Always liked the guy on the ice. Kinda reminded me of another 27 who I always thought should have been an outside shot at the hall. Grinder extraordinaire; John Tonelli.

In short, I do think JR should see his career immortalized with induction into the hall (as long as there aren’t other ghosts haunting him).

Sure, why not? He has 500 goals, 700 assists and a +/- of +150. He has two 50 goal seasons and three 100 point seasons. Seems like a pretty great career.

Jeremy Roenick is top 50 all-time in games played, goals, and points. He may not have any personal accolades or a Stanley Cup, but hard to argue with that.
