I like how OVI didn’t want to score that empty netter to pass Howe. He gave it Kuzy, but he sent it right back to Ovi, who frustratingly just blindly threw it towards the net from the boards, and it went in.
I'm going to be devastated if something comes in between him and Gretzky record.

Being a Canadian. Of course you wish he was one…but honestly. This guy plays the game with such grit and class how can you not be absolutely thrilled for the guy. Never thought I’d say this but…I can’t wait to watch the moment he breaks the Great One’s. Going to be a moment no one forgets in sports.

I love how everyone understands how important and how iconic Ovi is for us and our generation of hockey. I'm so grateful to have witnessed his career. I was 14 when he entered the league and he had a drastic impression on my play,I studied him hard and now at 32 it makes me kind of sad to see it coming to a close soon

better goal scorer than Gretzky…. half of Gretzky’s goals were easy… scored on slow shots from the blue line, with goalies diving all over the place.
