  1. He get goals not much assist 6 players in Return, Horvat took to next level every year maybe big package in History

  2. Slo-Bo….just trade the namby already. The whiner does not want to play here…EXCELLENT NEWS. The worse captain, ever.

  3. that first goal was an underhanded michigan, thats like creating a new dunk. he is playing his heart out this year, anyone who thinks he is doing it because he wants out does not understand him at all, he wants playoff hockey, if anything he is playing out of spite of the media and twitter pundits, you don't trade the most clutch player in the league to make your team 'better', he's a leader in his prime and he is leading HIS team, he would not be the same player in another uniform

  4. The thing is, ppl want a change since they dont believe horvat is the one to do it. Horvat is without any doubt our best player on faceoffs and is good all around. personally i would have Horvat above miller but what do u do with the contracts based on last seasons performances? to me it looks like ppl want a change with stronger "character" in the team since bo doesnt express himself aggressively enough. therefore its likely Bo will leave and a 5-6 additional players with him will be traded to initiate a rebuild. question is if ppl has that patience to go through 3 to 4 more seasons in the bottom…im not sure how much of a fan of that i am….but as i mentioned ppl want a big change….personally id stick with bo over miller if possible. A thing to take into account is that if the cap space is raised 5 million within the next 2 years, where will we be by then? (its supposed to be raised next season by a minimum 1 mill, possible 4-5)

  5. Bo is Bo, the perfect 2nd line Centerman. I Hope he takes like 6M/Y on a team like the Avs or B's would be awsome. I remember Dale Hunter saying Bo is the hardest working plyr he's ever seen, will be missed by the Canucks for sure.

  6. Nothing impressive to do good against the Oilers. You play the NHL farm team if you want to get your confidence back. If you lose against the Oilers you should hang your head in shame

  7. NHL player contracts should be performance based. They light it up in their contract year and fade after they get the big contract.

  8. Contract year. Players usually have their best season around contract year. The only players who don't do this is like players who sign the year before their contract expires (i.e. Miller). This isn't surprising at all.

  9. I remember the draft. Everyone felt he would be a third line center scoring at MAX 20 a year and be a good checker. When he reached thirty people thought that was the new ceiling. He'll reach 30 with his eyes closed this year and yeah he could get 40 to 45 why not. I wouldn't be surprised if he went elsewhere and scored 50 next year. Unlikely but i wouldn't be shocked. he just keeps getting better year after year, and not just in scoring, but faceoff, skating, checking, etc. This year, his big improvement was tipping pucks and that one timer with a new stick. Every year he shows up with a new skill. It's scary.

  10. Totally agree. They are such a strange team, can play like a Cup team one night and the next like a bottom feeder. If they make the playoffs who knows how far they'll go.

  11. Bo is a fantastic player and a great leader. That said he is a 2nd line Center on most good teams and a 1st on a not so good team. I also always say buyer beware when a guy is having a career type season on a contract year especially on a bad team. I hope for Bo's sake he gets his bag wherever he ends up but I think this will probably end up being his best statistical season in terms of numbers.

  12. Too bad Horvat can't stick around. Petey, Huges and Horvat are the superstar core of the Csnucks franchise. I've watched Horvat improve every season and he's now an elite player.

  13. i delivered to Bo Horvats parents place a little while ago and his dad said he spent the summer training with adam oats and attributes that to the elevation of his game.
