  1. I think blues need to rebuild but they need some veterans especially if there team is gonna become younger

  2. You know the blues ain’t gonna panic after what happened couple years ago one of worst teams in hockey before Christmas and best team in the NHL after

  3. Recorded this a few days ago. Thought I'd drop it now and get everyone's thoughts… we'll see what happens this year. Muzzin injury news, how well the Blues do this season or not… and any trade combo that could work? Thanks everyone

  4. I’m all for it, I’ve been saying fit a while now Barbashev would be a good piece for Toronto

  5. As a Blues fan, love your vod's. But this is a huge no no. There's just too many negative's across the board that would be okay for the Blues the let go one of their cornerstones. As good as it all looks, the picks would be useless if TOR decides to go deep in 23. Then what are the Blues left with exactly? A 30 year old defenseman when we're 4th in spending in defensemen as is? When we already have our core defense group? That doesn't make any sense to me. It really doesn't. Kerfoot is 28 years of age and we already have an aging core group as is. Imagine you left o-Reilly for Kerfoot who A hasn't won a cup yet, B Kerfoot's highest career season was 51 points (I'm guessing at the age of 27 in his prime). O-Reilly's career high was 77 at the age of 27 in 19. So you tell me what exactly we would get out of a guy thats a few years younger then o-Reilly and produces less then what hes on track for? Just doesn't make any sense.

Pierre Engvall is the only value I truly see in this trade. The rest is just fill ins that doesn't actually help the Bblues. If you want to get serous about the Maple Leafs and Blues it would include names like Liljegren, Kyrou, Nylander, Perunovich, Barbashev, and possibly a few later year picks like 24 and 25.

Im not a GM but I do look for the best interest for my Blues and like I said, frankly there's a few pieces that dont make sense. Great mock up tho. 🙂

  6. Go flames go what does everyone think of the flames season so far and do you think the flames will go to the playoffs

  7. O’Reilly is really struggling this year, but the Blues as a whole and the players around him are too, so idk how much of that is a personal skill issue or a team problem. I mean we saw how good O’Reilly played after being dealt to the Blues from Buffalo, so maybe he just needs a new environment. Not to mention the playoff experience from those players would very valuable. I like this trade, really just depends how valuable the Blues think O’Reilly still is.

  8. Bro you're dreaming if you think St Louis will make that trade there is no way in hell they will make that trade lol

  9. The first trade for sure no and the second trade 1,000% know there's no way St Louis is going to give up those two stars for our trash the only good thing that's in that deal is that first round pick everything else St Louis is not going to want to take on

  10. Totally delusional trade. STL will want a 1st +2nd + Knies/Robertson + for O'Rielly 50% retained. Barbashev also gets them a 1st + prospect. STL is not going to take on expiring deals like Kerfoot and Holl, there would have to be a 3rd team to give draft picks up for them. What will you get a couple 3rd round picks each, at best.

  11. I just wish that Kyle would do SOMETHING…. ANYTHING!!!!! The current team seems to lack chemistry and passion (it's sporadic at best). Personally, I think there is something much deeper going on behind the scenes. In the last 15+ years, this seems to be a common problem… a lack of passion on the ice (for example, they rarely start on time and rarely stand up for each other and allow their stars to be run over). More recently, the team seems divided somehow and refuse to stand up for each other (save the odd time, or when Simmer is in the lineup, then they all grow a pair). More than anything, right now the Leafs need a tough guy with talent, like O'Reilly (no, I'm not talking about a fighter, but a guy who plays with true grit and passion and isn't afraid to mix it up – maybe O'Reilly is that guy).

  12. 7.5m AAV as a center on the 3rd line is crazy. I feel this is one of those things where the idea is great but not sure how he fits in the lineup. It’s matthews centring the first line, Tavares 2nd and rielly 3rd; Reilly’s getting significantly less minutes. Doesn’t make sense for the price we’d have to pay. We’d be paying as seats for a first line center and throwing him on the 3rd line.

  13. Dubas will not make a move until Jan 1 when Klingberg 50 percent becomes available. That is the move to bolster the power play and gives us depth on our back end. If it cost Robertson that may be to steep. Draw the line at a first round pick and no more. Anything above that is to much. Good luck Leaf's, this is our year. 🧩

  14. I'm one of the guys that do the blues stuff here is my take.
    Kerfoot Holl Engvall hrivonen niemela 1st 2023 1st 2025 2nd 2024 and from blues,
Paraiso, O rielly barbashev retain 50 % o rielly and barbashev

  15. American 🇺🇸 Thanksgiving we call all Cap friendly the shit out of this but Dubas has to admit this ain’t it and I’m not sure he will. I am hoping GMBM does something for the Caps we need to see some major changes and get younger. Ultimately there isn’t a team in the NHL right now that doesn’t have a glaring whole. This is the 32 team NHL

  16. Not even close on the trade – this some kind of joke site? 3 pieces of Leaf overpaid garbage which the 3 picks might cover without any return from St. Louis.

  17. Even if Oreilly is proven, hes getting old. Toronto could do 2 2nd in the deal but being toronto they would put their 1st lol.

  18. Every time someone mentions a trade that involves giving up a first round pick, I keep thinking back to a first round pick and two fourth round picks for Nick Foligno. I am not a proponent of giving up first round picks.

  19. No wonder the leafs never win anything. They try too hard to build a winner. Every good player is going to the leafs all the time. Wake up !

  20. I would love to get Parayko too but.. why would they they him? He is their top D.

  21. love it. good hockey trades in both senarios.either one would def bolster this team and give this team a good shake up. if marner keeps playing the way he did tonight what would you do with him

  22. Move out engval put in knies, move out holl and put in Robertson, move in nemila. Add 2 first round picks. That's the only way st Louis makes that deal.
