One by One Connor McDavid has moved past the greatest players of all time. He has but one left- Bobby Orr. This will be his greatest challenge. Orr was a master of all three zones with God like plus minus numbers. We shall see.
McDavid has taken every new space aged piece of equipment in modern hockey and taken them to their limits. Incredible skater. Supremely accurate shooter. He glides faster than most players skate. He is the best player I've seen in 50 years & that includes some mind boggling talent. Wayne Gretzky said 3 years ago : "Very soon in Edmonton they will be saying 'Wayne' Who ?"

I think it's privilege to see NHL's new era Gretzky in our own lifetime. At this moment, 60 points when teams have played a bit over 1/3 of the season. If this guy keeps healthy, who knows how many points he will get.
