Canada's world junior team is expected to roll over the Czech team. I was saying all along that this Czech team has a good core of players, and they are big and physical. I would be lying if I said I thought the Czechs would win 5-2; however, I did expect the game to be close. It was a good wake-up call for the group, though, and we will bounce back against Germany tomorrow.
Now about the Leafs:
We could have played better but got the job done in the end. Can't expect to be perfect coming back from Christmas break.
