After a long time off for the Sabres, I was very impressed with the effort. As expected there was some fatigue kicking in at the end, but the boys battled through it. Great win.
Trying to have faith in Stevie Y here but damn this team doesn't look much improved from their worst season since the drought started. Just pathetic hockey. I'd be sending Hronek to the minors right after the game ended.
To beat the wings guide: play absolute lights out in the first and then make sure they don't get too much momentum in the second and it's a free win. Red wings first period stats have to be close to worst in the league. However once they figure out how to step out on the ice and play professional hockey they will be a team to be reckoned with. I can't wait for that day.
