Hes not a bad coach. Hell be good for 2 years then horrible for the next 2
Atkinson praised Torts on Breakup day. AV's Problem was he had too big of an ego and Voracek eluded to that when talking about the flyers. Torts to me come off as a coach that you grow to really respect because you know how much he cares. Maybe I'm an optimist but I don't think were as bad off as it seems were by no means a contender but if we get healthy Coots and Ellis were gonna be better no matter what there our 2 best players. We need to focus on getting an Extra reliable 3rd pair defenseman so hart isnt left out to dry for 10 minutes every game and a good winger to move up down the lineup throughout the season and Draft Matthew Savoie.

Meh, it'll be alright. Kevin Hayes might be in trouble now though. The flyers hired a third party company essentially, to find them candidates. They said there were 8 total. I'd be interested in knowing who they didn't prefer over tort. It's done and nothing you can do. Best to wait and see what comes of this.
How much he doesn't last 4 years? He NEVER lasts. This is typical Chuck Fletcher, who cares ONLY for himself and his job. The Flyers are not the only team he helped tank. (Minnesota). Tortorella has a lousy rep. w/ young players. AV is a superior coach to him. What's that tell you?
