A major penalty can be called by all 4 officials. There is no reason these calls should be missed. Unfortunately they are very strict on criticism on the officiating openly
Well don’t violate the collective bargaining agreement. You are going to miss calls that’s one you shake your head at as far as the call but they probably didn’t want to review it because Sheldon giving it to them.

So you get punnished for going to work early typical of todays society rewarded for lazyness and punnished for working what else is new that type of attitude is now in hockey to just great so much for the love of the game

As far as leaving early, I'd check with the players. Maybe they wanted to leave early. Maybe they didn't want to arrive in the dead of night. This is a silly rule anyway, these are adults.
Well the refereeing has been suspect in the NHL ever since Bettmahn took over 28 years ago.
