A top 5 pick in this draft is really nothing to scoff at. Way better than finishing 12-15 due to some lucky goaltending imo.

The Habs have a chance of having two top 8 picks which is nice.
Unfortunately, this is our reality now.
All I hope is that we draft a player that will fit cohesively into our team.
Whether that be a Fantilli, Bedard, or who tf ever. Doesn’t matter to me, just make sure they can meld well into the team…and can be signed a contract that gives us flexibility when their ELC expires.
This team never won with albatross contracts of star players. It won by the work of team players!
