At what point does coach Granato start to get consideration for the Jack Adams Award?
Highest scoring team in the league, multiple rookies with a case for Calder votes, Thompson going Super Saiyan, Dahlin is a different player, Cozens not only gaining steam on his own line but is becoming lethal with just about anyone, UPL looking like a goalie that does more than show up with his own pads after struggling a little while now.
What more does he need to do to be in the conversation?
What an awesome win, HC Granato is smooth when speaking with the media, you would not have guessed he was riding a six-game winning streak earned against the number-one team in the NHL on the road.
I appreciate how the HC explains how UPL is progressing, dialed in, and reading the play, Mr. Luukkonen has shown he is capable of being our number one goaltender, and the situation is looking bright in net, imho.
HC Granato humbly replies that were a capable team and that they do not feel that they are a good team, a capable one.
And is it just me, or is that the biggest most tech-savvy microphone in front of the Head Coach, lol.
