It's funny how Coiler fans act like they were actually playing a team fighting for their playoffs lives in this game when actually this was a meaningless game for the Avalanche since they already clinched their playoff spot at the top of the Western Conference.

Early season, Edmonton had no will to live. Now they’ve had 2 or 3 playoff caliber games against Colorado. Big turnaround. This would be a scary series for both fan bases.

I don't watch much oilers hockey but when I watch highlights I never see nugent hopkins finish and the guy gets a lot of chances. From people who follow the oilers.. is the guy any good or could 6 mill be spent better?

Man, the Oilers dominated OT in this game too. They have to look at this as a win for sure. Massive game for the boys, Koskinen was solid.
I prefer 7-6 to 2-1, so this was quite boring to me.
Avs hit the post 3 times, and on numerous occasions Oiler defence caught puck watching with 2 oilers chasing an Avs fwd with the puck, only for an easy dish to an open man. Oilers team defence is still lacking greatly. Fair score line would have been 3-1, or 4-1
