I think everyone is sleeping on us. We had the busiest and most improved off season with a roster turnover and new coaching staff. I'd like to come back to this in a year from now being right. Just because Giroux did what he did on a stacked Panthers team doesn't translate over to Ottawa right away. Giroux and Debrincat are nice additions but Yzerman addressed Detroit's weaknesses and fixed them in 1 off season. We need to remember this when comparing ourselves to other teams.

nope, coaching along with free agents plugged holes and will get us over the hump. next offseason will be interesting. we got some hard decisions to make cause Elmer, Cross, Berggren and Kasper are gonna be on this roster.
I think the wings will get in the 5 hole in the Atlantic this year. I think we are better than the Sabres and sens because after great years when players get traded like giroux and debrincat for the sens they tend to be not as good. And the Sabres still look pretty bad. But we are still a couple years away from a playoff position because I don't think we are as good as the bruins or panthers or leafs or tampa but still I think we made the SMARTEST off-season additions in the Atlantic.
