Word of James: After the 3rd and 18 was converted and then a jet sweep went 40 right after, the team quit. THAT is a problem. Being bad due to lack of talent is one thing, quitting is quite another.
It becomes very very obvious how bad our OLine is when Justin can’t run. It’s the reason we changed the game plan after the mini bye.

Isn't anyone gonna question if JF is really as good as billed? I've seen back up qbs with no help who can make 3-4 good plays a game. Also JF is out there cause he's stat padding. He might have some incentive or can use the rushing record as a bargaining chip when his contract is up. But I wouldn't close the door on other qb options.

The last quarter of the season was suppose to be about Fields developing as a passer. We all see the downfield accuracy, but the short routes, slants and curl routes is yet to be seen on a consistent basis with Fields and to test his dependability with those passes. It hasn’t happened. Coaching, lack of WR’s and weak pass blocking may all have attributed to that, but if he’s the franchise, you gotta hope he has that in him to rely on his arms rather than his legs.
