Way to coach the team. Way to bring the Fin into the game. Great job on defense keeping the Islanders heavily checked in the zone.
I think Jones should play every game unless he is exhausted. He should have been one of the stars of tonight’s game. He kept the Kraken in the game even with a low shot count, there were a couple of nasty looks.
Calling out Gourde and Tanev for their tenacity is key. Soucy stayed out of the box!
I hope Kraken have analytics for players hesitance to act. Tanev and Gourde give it their all nonstop. Schwartz’s tenacity fighting for a loose puck is awesome to see. In my books all Kraken need to be on it 100%. This talk “ we played most of the game”, “didn’t give it our all”, isn’t Kraken-like.
