no one is trading for campbell unless they're sending a bad contract back. campbell's value couldn't be lower. maybe they could send him with JP for bobrovsky.
as a habs fan, i'd trade for zaitsev if i can get a good pick/prospect in the deal. if i can't get a 1st, i target sogaard, ostapchuk, or jarventie, in that order. i think greig is off limits. then buy out zaitsev at year's end. might have to make a trade first to clear some space. say, hoffman (50%) to calgary for schwindt and a 3rd? maybe add pitlick in the zaitsev deal if necessary?
pavelski is a bargain now. next year, more so.
There is a goalie in Detroit by the name of Alex Nedeljkovic he would be a fit with the Oilers.A flip one for one.
With the Ziatsev contract a rebuild team like Arizona,Chicago,Anaheim orSan Jose.The obvious reason to Arizona for Chychrun.Chicago I'm not sure Murphy is on concussion protocol right now.Anaheim for Klingberg.There are quite a few options out there
Happy New Year 2023 to all TSH viewers–second half of the season should be interesting for sure–WJC very entertaining with some upsets mixed in, and Connor Bedard definitely showing why he will be the #1 pick in the next draft. Stars signing Pavelski is good for them, he's one of their cornerstone players. Oilers looking to upgrade from Campbell? The knock on him is health and consistency because the talent is there, really thought he'd be better in Edmonton than Toronto–still think the Oilers should have targeted Husso in free agency. And a special recognition of Willie O'Ree, who broke down the NHL hockey color barrier ( so awesome he's from your town) and opened the door to young black players , like myself, back in the '60's and '70's, so, thank you ,Willie, for everything, for being such a great ambassador of the sport. If they add another d-man they won't be able to afford DeBrincat even if the new d-man replaces Zaitsev. If you go on capfriendly for next season, they won't be able to keep talbot either if they do that.

Skinner will be the Oilers #1 moving forward which almost no one expected prior to this year, now it’s a worthy gamble. Just need to get rid of that 5 mill cap hit, almost anyone can be a back up..except Campbell it seems.
There are so many videos about trade rumors. None of these rumors matter, and very few ever materialize. They're just meaningless speculation.

Oils made mistake signing Campbell 5×5 Copley could be a good one if available, But there are good goalies out there that are 6'3 or bigger that are great on edges playing their net, just gotta sign low firat
Pachy should go back to Canadiens and I don't see anyone taking Zietzev either, OTT stuck with him, Their fault they traded for him in what ever package he was with
