It seemed clear that head coach Rick Bowness wasn’t overly enamoured with the BC product as he was asked about his play before the game against the Canucks last Thursday and his response was:
« It’s been ok. Let’s just leave it at that. It’s been ok. »
Follow up asked if there was any area he’d like to see more of and his reply was:
« Just a little bit better in all areas actually. »

Well I mean I’m definitely not an nhl calibre coach, or a coach at all in fact…..
I really liked the way that he gave 100% on every shift, you could always see him forecheck and PK super hard. Especially don’t know why we are waiving him with so many injuries right now.

It’s nice to see the Jets are shedding that “settle for mediocrity” attitude they stuck with for so long.
