Before the Leddy signing, I was thinking a Barbashev for Sandin trade could work. Still do if Scandella is moved.

Idk how people think the leafs can move Sandin that easily. If you get back a roster player than the leafs will be further over the cap. After Kerfoot is moved the leafs would have 2 million in cap space. I think that isn't enough room for what's coming back, if Sandin is traded.
How about Sonny Milano? is he still available? would love him on the leafs…
Hopefully this gets resolved one way or the other. I cannot see why he won't sign the same deal liljegren because he does not have any leverage yet and he is being told that he is wanted and he is a huge part of the Leafs present and future

Leafs need a power forward. Either put Sandin as part of a package for Bertuzzi from the Red Wings, or Lawson Crouse from the Coyotes. Don't really want to trade him, but d core left side is crowded, and Dubas seems very loyal to Muzzin. Leafs need to get more physical presence in their top 6. Panthers figured that out (traded for Tkachuk), but Leafs still acting like it's non contact hockey, and won't matter if they have no grit in the playoffs.
If he lets Sandin go Dubas should go 👏 👏
Let's hope that the Leafs trade Sandin. Tough as wet cardboard.
He may not be on the move….but Dubas' may let him sit out and rot. Sandin needs to realize that he has ZERO leverage. If the Leafs keep Muzzin, then they may ship Sandin in a package in order to get somebody back with retained salary
Detroit would be out of their minds to do Zadina and Sandin 1 for 1. You could see Sandin + something for Zadina. I'd love to see him in Philly but I don't see a trade.
Seems like so many comments don't recognize the Leafs cap problems or players NTC.
