What might an Alexis Lafreniere trade look like from a Canucks standpoint?
Be nice but need D prospects if not going to rebuild with picks thru draft
Laf would be hella cool, and I’m sure he has a way to go potential wise… but I mean if we’re trading Bo, come on there’s gotta be a RHD or maybe a decent young center and a RHD prospect?? Am I wrong to want more than just Laf in a trade?

Well if it'd Laffy skating problem there's 3 really fast players on the Canucks that could help him develop that Mikheyev, Hughes, Garland so not really a bad idea.
Canucks had a chance to move Miller for Laffy last year but at the time Rangers fans and Canucks was like no, Horvat for Laffy seems fair even tho it'd be tough letting Horvat go, Miller would have to be the 2nd line centre he was pretty decent b4 he's just not playing really good this year at all anymore overall this team needs a change and Horvat would be a huge change to the Rangers helping them In the playoffs.
Love to see Laffy on a line with Miller and Garland.

I don’t think they should trade Bo, but if they do, they need to fix their defense. Laf isn’t going to fix what’s wrong with this team.

Vancouver needs to stay away from Lafreniere.
He's been a total bust so far considering he went 1st OA in 2020 and really wouldn't be adding anything to our roster.
He's a career 0.4 ppg player (69 pts in 172 gp) and we really don't have the room for him on our forward squad.
What would a trade look like?
If it was Bo going to the Rangers, it would have to be for Laf, a high draft pick, and a roster player or prospect.
Anything less than that would be something Benning would do, and I pray our management squad isn't dumb enough to do something like that.
If it happens trade for Laffy then I'm all in
Canucks offence isn’t the issue it’s the defence is a massive problem. Canucks could get that by trading horvat.

High risk high reward
The reason I watched this video was to get an idea of the type of player Lafreniere is. Unfortunately, other than point totals, height, and weight, I don't know any more than I did.
Not all players on a team are valued for their goals and/or points per season. Many defensemen & checking forwards are more valued for other aspects of the game, and the odd contribution of goals is just an unexpected bonus. Still, it seems to be a myopic focus by the Youtube "media" that points are everything.
How's Lafreniere's checking/defensive play, face-off abilities, hitting, grit, tenacity, speed, etc.?
Without such knowledge, I haven't a clue as to how he'd fit in on the Canucks, nor who/what is worth trading away to get him.
When I hear of your views on Miller, in the summer and now, I wonder if you really believed that Miller would repeat last year's performance? There have been a lot of changes to the Canucks over the past year, on & off the ice. That has an effect on all of the players, as does the hen-pecking by the online media & fans. I couldn't blame Miller if, after the latest fan/critic/"media" whinge over the "Delia incident", coupled with past criticisms, he was fed up with the toxic environment around this team; not created by the team.
Imagine how much more whinging will be heard from the fans & internet media if this team were to do a rebuild, which would require a few years for players to gel, when the same fans & media can't handle a poor-to-mediocre half-season.
