It’d be cool to give up less than 5 goals one of these times idk

Kane just went down in Chicago. Theyre beating us at the Bedard tank
BLACKHAWKS AND LIGHTNING ARE TIED RIGHT NOW, pray for OT
Im pissed off at the organization for how they’re handling slafkovskys development. Downvote me all you want, but this is kotkaniemi 2.0 all over again.
Good tank game there
Feels like Slafkovsky has really hit a wall. The NHL schedule is just very hard for an 18 year old European player, and his progression not only has stalled, it seems like he’s starting to regress.
With the road trip over I think it’s time for him to get some reps in the AHL, let him play easier minutes in a league where he can keep up.
Flordia won today, Habs lost

Habs sliding into the bottom 6. Arizona is 2 points back with 2 games in hand. Nearly bottom 5 boys!
I have bet on Montreal in their last 10 games and they are 1-9 in these games. I feel like I’m doing my part for the tank 🫡
Habs allow less than 6 goals 2023 challenge
Only 6 goals against, seems like I missed a defensive clinic by the Habs.
I hate how we kept Slaf here for this shit show instead of sending him to play in wjc
Newsflash for you all…. Bedard ain’t fixing this.
Just like Slaf didn’t fix anything.
*BAD*
– Of course I couldn’t fully pay attention to this game as I do have other things to do and it’d be a little psychotic to keep watching this hardcore which in itself is bad because that’s the state of the team.
– Being young doesn’t mean you are good. Very very tough words from me I know that. Let’s put it this way I have seen signs of growth from Guhle, Xhekaj, Harris, Slafkovsky and pretty much all the young players on the Habs. Since he has been I haven’t seen much of anything from Barron. That doesn’t mean he won’t be good, I just personally have not seen it *yet* doesn’t mean it won’t happen.
– The whole defense is a train wreck and at this point the tank is the right play but seriously can we not give up touchdowns.
– Slovakia Canada game was exciting last night. I have zero idea what Slafkovsky is doing in the NHL right now. Earlier in the year he had games where it was like yeah it’s fine leaving him here, but he’s been honestly not playing so good for about a month now. Another really critical take here, what the heck is he learning right now getting pumped by every team and being played scarcely? Resiliency I guess?
*GOOD*
– Caufield is a stud obviously. For years we’ve all complained about not really having that one goal scoring machine or someone who just absolutely snipes. Well, here he is and he has so much potential to even be 40+ each season long term. People tend to forget he’s only just turned 22 years old. Amazing.
– Good to see Anderson hit the back of the net again. I don’t waiver from my takes, he should be moved now as I think he will slow down and regress mightily, but some of his play when he’s on shows why teams are in on him. I actually think away from the Habs he will do very good like Lehk.
Chicago is losing 👎
Vancouver is winning 👍
Florida won 👎
Arizona lost 👎
Columbus lost 👎
Toronto lost 👍
Not a great night to drop in the standings
Good news, only 44 more games left!

Do we starting worrying about MSL at some point? I dont want him gone at all, and the losing is needed but the effort lately has been, well…..pathetic. Some people would argue that’s a sign of the touch being tuned out.
Dach, Caufield and Richard looked good. Pezzetta worked hard and threw some good hits. Slafkovsky also was working hard and skated well, his stick handling needs to improve. Also Suzuki has to stop passing the puck and hold onto it a little bit longer. Barron made some bad mistakes. Special teams crushed us again.
I gotta put this out there but is the Marty Magic fading? This is what i feared during his signing. The team would ride high playing for a guy like him but that emotion wears off. Is this a sign that the honeymoon period is over and hes not that great of a coach, or is this just the team regressing back to what they shouldve been. Or maybe a bit of both?
Legend has it, they never won a game again.
