It really baffles me how a veteran player like Myers, with his size and stick length, consistently makes weak ass breakout passes that nearly always result in a turnover. Up the middle, up the boards, doesn’t seem to matter. The only strong passing he seems capable of is the d-to-d cross pass while the other team has initiated a change.

He’s certainly not the only culprit of this Canucks phenomena, but it sure seems like it’s more often than not Myers that makes this type of play.
