I cannot stand the third periods Buffalo is playing right now. We have the best first line in hockey right now and we are relying on d-men with less than a season of experience to hold on to the lead for us. Luukkonen, Samuelsson and Dahlin can’t save the whole team’s butt. Still an amazing win where we were heavily unfavored. Great to see a response by some secondary scorers this game in Jost and Mittlestadt to tie it up. They played that rush really smart.

I have no problem saying Thompson is the 3rd best player in all of hockey right now behind McDavid and Ovi. The Sabres have 2 top 10 players in hockey and I don't know if you miss the postseason if you have 2 of the leagues top 10 players.
