Not sure I'll ever be a Canucks fan the same way if we lose Bo, a monster trade package could maybe re ignite my passion for the team, but the direction of the entire franchise is really just lackluster and uninspired. After the way the fanbase and organization treated Roberto Luongo on his way out the door as a first ballot HoFer and the best goalie in franchise history my love for them died a little bit and I think the JT/ Bo is just the final nail in the coffin at least for me

Horvat will be chomping at the bit to get out by trade deadline it will be a relief for him! Vancouver will loose Pederson and Hughes through being disgruntled and ask for trade in two years, they will see writing on the wall and want to go to a fresh team with a commitment to win the cup. I predict canucks team implodes by end of 2023/24 season, they might get one more year out of the young stars, JT will be there to see it all. Canucks took a roll of the dice on Miller that he turned the corner on maturity and leadership, unfortunately he is immature and self serving, someone like Shenn going to have to tune him up in the dressing room or at practice to send a message it's a team. Too bad some of their old hard nose vets arn't still around from their playoff run in the bubble.

The Canucks organization spectacularly mishandled the Miller situation when they rejected the Rangers offer of Lundkvist, Chytil and a 1st-round pick last year, then signed him to that monster extension in the summer. Lundkvist has since established himself as a solid defender with Dallas, and the Canucks could surely use someone like him. Between Miller's and OEL's contract, the Canucks have basically doomed the team to mediocrity over the next 8 years. I pray that they come to their senses and move him for whatever they can get, even if it means taking a bad contract back, but who would want him.?
