  1. I was right when the Vikings secured a spot in the playoffs that they should rest all their starters. If they would have done it, even though they might have ended up as a lower seed, they would have been in better position to go further in the playoffs than they are now without two starters on the offensive line, which is offensive and nasty, but it is what it is. I don't see the Vikings have a great chance to win more than one game in the playoffs, because it all starts with the offensive line. With the way it is now and Cousins getting pressured and sacked a lot and the defense pretty bad and the special teams not so special, well, my hopes for the Vikings in the playoffs is not too high. But who knows, maybe they'll pull a miracle or two like they did in the regular season. Skol!

  2. No NFL team has more playoff losses than the Minnesota Vikings….(30 )

  3. We have as good a chance as anybody in the playoffs. It’s one and done football. Come ready. Come prepared. I’ll put this offense clicking against any defense in the league. This season is special, this team is special, these fans are special. We ride this bitch until the wheels fall off! SKOL!

  4. Doesn’t matter all them teams will torch our defense, fans better just hope they still got that 🍀 or it’s a early exit!

  5. Hey guys “Zero Rings” is making delusional talk again.
You can see the cheese dripping from his ears.

  6. I bet you get your wish with the earlier game. I'd imagine whatever the NFL figures out for Buffalo and Cincinnati involves them playing later games.

  7. What are the odds KOC dropped the packers game so the 49rs can smacked the shit out of the packers again in the playoffs? 49rs own the packers, Minnesota owns saints

  8. So we play Giants or Lions! Fine with who ever we play! Almost playoffs time SKOL!!! No we don't fear anybody, it's not in our Viking blood!!

  9. (1) The Cardinals owe the Vikes one, which goes back to many many moons ago, when their last-second upset win in the last game of the season eliminated the Vikes from the playoffs (..apologies if the mere mention of that embarrassing loss triggered 'VPTSD' among my fellow fans of the purple & gold…lol..). So fingers crossed that the Cardinals can upset the 49ers!

    (2) The Giants have a very aggressive pass rush & a love of blitzing, which will could make it 'H-E-double toothpicks' for the ad-hoc Vikings' O-line. The Packers & Lions all have D-lines that have experienced success against the best O-line the Vikes have had in years. I am not sure if the Seahawks' pass rush is as dangerous as the other three teams' pass rush. This leads to my next point…

    (3) Going forward, KO'C has two priorities: (a) assemble the best O-line possible from what he has available, and (b) prepare a design plays & put together a game plan that is entirely focused on dealing with an extremely aggressive pass rush & stubborn run defence from all possible opponents. While all potential opponents have some good DBs, I am confident that the Vikes' pass game can be quite successful against those four opponents, IF Cousins has time to go through his reads & throw the ball without pressure in his face., plus JJ and other receivers have time to work their way open against defences.

    (4) Further to 3(b). The Vikes need a run game that relies of speed, deception, and outside runs/screens, and and a pass game using maximum pass protection (*) to protect Cousins and give JJ and other receivers time to work their way open. (*) Seriously consider having two TEs, an extra O-lineman, and/or CJ Ham in there on every snap, plus a strong selection of short pass plays, so the offence avoids plays that lose yards or lead to quick sacks/strip sacks. If this requires KO'C to move away from his philosophy for offence, so be it.

    (5) I expect opposing defences will likely double up on JJ, and/or play press man on JJ while bringing extra pressure via the blitz. IMHO, the Vikes offence must (a) have JJ in motion or in bunched formations, (b) have plays for JJ where he can choose between routes based on post-snap reads that both he and Cousins can make, and (c) run sweeps/reverses to keep defences guessing & spread defences laterally.

FWIW…it may seem over simplified, but – given all the injuries to starters & back-ups along the O-line, the success of the Vikes in the playoffs will likely come down to the ability of the Vikes' offence to sustain drives, avoid negative yardage plays/penalties, and score at least 28 points per game. Of course, the defence has to play as well as it can (ideally getting turnovers and sacks/tackles for loss) and Special Teams must play well & win the field position game…but the most likely 'fail scenario' for the Vikes will have to do with the O-line (..the ability to run the ball & give Cousins time to throw the ball..)

  10. Bring on whomever. It’s the playoffs. Eventually, they will face the best in the conference. If they wanna be the best they have to beat the best.

  11. I believe the Lions will beat the Packers. But my confidence in the Vikes is at a season low….after a fourth blowout loss! We are stuck in neutral on both side of the ball…

  12. Thinking about it, this may be the better path, not gunna lie I’d much rather play the giants than packers 1st round. Plus I think they’re the only wild card team that could beat the 49ers

  13. Now that Purdy has five games of film out there, I wonder if he'll get exposed in the playoffs. I'm not a big x's and o's guy but I've been told Shanahan's system protects QB's really well; so maybe I'm bit optimistic there.

  14. the vikings are overrated frauds that got blown out by the packers lol and we always beat them if it wasn't for the missteaks the giants was making but when we see the vikings in the playoff it will be a different out come

  15. Even before the OLine decimation, after the GB game I called 1 and Done. KOC does not seem to know how to prepare a game plan, much less change it on the fly and gets the occasional miracle. But with tight wins and blowout losses, I just cannot get too excited yet. He and KOM have a 3 year opportunity window.

  16. #SKOL ready for the superbowl I believe the 3 seed is a better route while the top teams knock each other off

  17. Love watching you dude! I’ve always wondered and had to finally ask why do you call us Jerome’s 😂 lmk. SKOL

  18. What happens if Philly San Fran Dallas and the Vikings all end up 13-4? Unlikely but it’s possible!
