  1. The Benning decisions will take a few more years to wash out . Mediocrity will continue

  2. Canucks need new core Benning inherited core just fragile no capspace next season need kuzzy also tried moved Miller

  3. Can hardly wait for Miller to announce “ my contract sucks”. Probably even before it kicks in.

  4. Never doubt the canucks in trying to always stay mediocre no matter the cost.

  5. My hot take – The reason why they can't sign Bo is because of the money committed to Brock, not Miller. Miller is a spaz but puts up points. A ton of Bo's goals and a ton of Miller's points come from playing together. I always thought Bo would be 8 x $7M, but his play to start the year throws that out the window. There is no way that the Canucks should pay more than $8M to Bo.

  6. New management destroyed this team when they resigned Miller. Horrible role model for young players. The shoulder shrugs, the lazy body language and now we have hm for another 7 years.

  7. The tanking issue is the reason the draft should be a full lottery system. 32 team names go into a hat and the order of pick drawn at random. It's the only fair way. It's ridiculous to punish success and reward failure. In 52 years the Canucks have never had a number one overall pick. In a random pick system they would have at least 1, possibly two, overall #1 picks by now. There is no downside to a full lottery system. Why is no one ever talking about this?

  8. People never learn…man people are dumb. They sign big contracts…then have issues trading them when shit hits the fan….like duh. Repeat.

  9. Miller is a heart and soul star player who just had a 100 point season. And yet our fans tear him to bits. Maybe he’s not worth the new extension (he’s worth $8m for the next 3 years or so it’s a win-now contract), and maybe he’s not a captain quality player because he lets his emotions get the best of him from time to time, but I love him on the team. He’s going to be better

  10. It's harder to make trades too because every team knows how valuable their 1st round pick is for the next draft…

  11. Bedard put up a lot of points but he got a lot of ice time and support against some pretty mediocre opposition. He's not a Crosby or a McDavid. Some juniors peak in Junior and it doesn't translate to the NHL. Guess we'll see. I'd rather have Roy.

  12. We know how this story goes ,
Horvat will get slightly injured before the deadline and walk in UFA for nothing , Gary's backroom lottery charade will have Bedard drafted in the U.S.
Canucks will finish 6 last and draft 8 or 9.
    Pick another Juolevi.

  13. You idiots that think ownership just wants to squeak into the playoffs for 2 home playoff games are either a) morons b) brand new fans or c) both

When the Canucks were a powerhouse team they were literally a money printing machine

  14. 1:08 – Donnie: How do you describe the state of the Canucks franchise at this moment?
Elliott: hey Metrotown is having a sale guys …….

  15. I’m not sure why the Canucks can’t find a shanahan or Neely . I want to see the Canucks pounding everything . Aren’t we all tired of watching the team get pounded . Even our best guys get just hammered and thrown about . If the Canucks finish last and got hundred chances to get bedard we couldn’t . Only the Canucks are silly enough to not focus on signing the guy their hall of famers wanted captain . Yep only in Vancouver
