The last time the presidents trophy winner and the Stanley Cup winner both missed the playoffs the next year was 2014-15 (Bruins and Kings). It’s starting to look like a possibility this year. Panthers have been bad and the Aves seem to be getting screwed by everything, including themselves. I know they’ve still got some injuries, but it doesn’t excuse dropping 5 games in a row when 2 of the teams they faced were Arizona and Vancouver. They got Mackinnon back recently but have somehow gotten worse. It’s only halfway through the season so there’s time to turn it around but they can’t keep letting games slip away.
Breaking News!! This just in….Myers had a decent game tonight and so did Boeser….Too bad the Canucks couldn't play just the AVS or Seattle Krak heads for the rest of the season…They Would make the playoffs for sure…
Looks like 2016 crapvalanche are back. I'd be shocked if they win more than 30 games this year. Avs are literally one player team. hhahaha

Why can this Canucks team not play like this 3/4 of the time? They always play catch up and inch within a couple points of the wild card, and then lose a few in a row to drop out of contention of the wild card. They are so consistently inconsistent that you have to conclude they just are not good enough to win in this league, much less to contend for a deep playoff run. Re-build.
