  1. All that talk about putting together a better effort than on tuesday… great look boys. Unfuck yourselves, and quickly.

  2. Im so happy morgan rielly is back and holl is playing 20 mins a game and conor timmins is a healthy scratch. Once again the coaching staff is making all the right decisions.

  3. Murray was bad tonight but so was everyone else. The whole team stunk. In fact, the whole team has stunk since Christmas. Only the Colorado game was ok.

  4. So glad you guys decided to engage in a topic that no media or other Leaf's podcasters want to address. It is simply uncomfortable to question Morgan Reilly's contribution to this team and his chemistry in fitting in now that the leafs have become more defensive oriented (well up until recently). Reilly's offensive talent is evident, however, his defensive deficits overshadow his offensive play. Given the leafs don't truly have a number one dman, are prone to lazy back checking nights by forwards (sometimes because the veterans are back on d), and are top 5 in giveaways….it becomes more evident that puck moving offensive dmen, who are not that great at playing d, are not going to help this team. In Reilly and Brodie's absence, this team relied on steady defensive zone play by dmen (thank god for Geo). What's amazing is that most were shocked that the leafs went on a heater without these guys. Granted they had Sandin, but he is less of a risk taker than Reilly and doesn't have ambition to act like a forward constantly out of position or pinching at the worst times (watch OT games). The result was strong defensive, team oriented, play leading to consistent wins. Time to get Timmins and Benn back in the lineup and tighten this mess up. Hopefully the chemistry they had during the streak will return. That said, it is not all on Reilly or Brodie, but managing their time and equally distributing dman time might serve this team more effectively. Time to wake up Keefe!!! I'm sure the goalies would love it too 🙂
