garbage. Feel bad for Sorokin, he deserves better than this.
Hi Gil-So frustrating isles are pure hot garbage. And its obvious lane can't get this team going game after game. Too many lackadaisical efforts. When they play a team like oil or any talented team that is on they have no chance. Sometimes isles can catch a team on a bad night and beat them with effort. When the effort isn't there they just can't kick it into talent mode and win cause they have none. Unlike more talented teams. Sometimes i dream of what a big scorer might do for this team. Kick Isles into a new gear. Then reality hits and i realize one deal isn't going to save this team. Even two tdl deals wont. Isles are so lacking in talent compared to other teams, Isles got the break with pens losing to hang on the 8th spot. It will be just a matter of time before pens get going. I can't figure out how isles have been in a playoff position most of the season. Must be the goaltending cause i'll be damned if i can find any other reason. Sometimes i just want the isles to fall apart in second half to force lou to get off of his ass, clean house of the useless vets, and get cap space and begin a roster overhaul. I know barzal is going nowhere. Dobson as well. Any other player should be up for grabs. Pelech has a serious concussion? Brock would make a nice no. two for a contending team needing a second center. Sorokin has one more year before ufa. Move ufa's mayfield and varly at tdl. Deal wahlstrom, beau for whatever isles can get. See what pulock can fetch as well. That is a start. Parise (thankfully on a cheap one year deal), palmeiri, lee, czikas, bailey, clutter-good luck moving them. Martin is a heart and soul isle so keep him. Any one else-bye bye. Hopefully it will be bye bye lou after the season. This teams future is hopeless with current roster and b level prospects. Isles need youth, Isles need draft picks, Isles need top level prospects. And lou can watch as bedard ends up in philly, habland, or with bj's. Good job lou ruining this franchise. Good show again Gil.
The isles still have bums like bailey on their PP & first line. It's a joke! Lou must go. Time to sell mayfield, varly, brock (or JGP). Raty can fill in that C position. Also, the sorokin All star game snub is not shocking. The NHL is run by snobby elitist left wing liberal commie hacks that think anything russian is bad. Any opportunity to snub a russian, they will do it.
