Man, disappointing loss for the lightning. They played a great game 5 on 5, but they were a mess on special teams. You just can’t give away two 5 on 3’s in one game, especially against a good team like the jets. Also, why tf didn’t John Cooper called a timeout when they got the last powerplay. That’s your chance to tie the game, you have to come up with some sort of set play or plan. The lightning didn’t and some lazy defense by Point lead to the dagger. I can also see why the Jets are one of the best defensive teams in the league, Dubois and Demelo stepped up when the pucks got behind Hellebuyck. I really wanted to see these two teams in the finals back in 2018 and now I really want to see these teams in the finals. GG Jets, let’s go bolts!
