Solid win, was a little concerned with Ceci slowly responding to the net front on the second Isles goal but the entire team played very well. Kostin with McD looked good as well as Yamo. All 4 lines looked good. Same effort will be required against the AVS and all teams .
I liked the more defensive element Kostin brought to the first line playing with McDavid. Maybe that's all McDavid needs beside him: a defensive winger with grit, get the guys out of McDavid's way and let McD put on the show. Can't help wonder what the first line would like with 2 rough and tough guys flanking McDavid – Kane and Kostin. The K2 Kombo Kill Machine.

Sure hope this continues … it was estimated today (based on last season) that the Oilers will need to go at least 24-13-5 just to make the playoffs.
