I can't stand the Bruins and I definitely picked them to fall off, but they definitely deserve congratulations because I don't think anyone saw this coming.
Bedard is an amazing talent, but the arguement for lower tier teams is that of course hes going to score like 8 points vs them. but he also looked incredible vs Sweden and Slovkia, which is what people were looking for. Still cant take away a point being a point
LAF is on a team that doesn't play him in a big role. Argument 1: If he played with nr. 1 he WOULD get more production and his value would bump up. Argument 2: NYR do not want his value to go up, especially now on a contract year, before he is signed to a longer deal.

This bruins teams IS special … BUT.. man they start games very slow. I feel like they haven’t scored the first goal in a majority of games lately. I love the ability to come back, but that’s harder against the leagues best. I still feel like they need just one more piece to maybe get the job done.
The fact that the Bruins have played more than half their homes already, with only 3 games on the road in the opposite conference, bearing in mind we’re already in January, shows how lopsided their schedule has been so far.

I'm a bit surprised that a team like Buffalo (good results, cap space) didn't roll a dice on Vrana. But, well, there are good reasons not to.
The cap hit alone was enough, but it could be advertisement for a trade. If Yzerman was willing to lose the guy for nothing means he's tradable.
If the Bruins win the cup this year, I may not be happy about it, but I'll probably find myself saying: at least it wasn't a canadian team outside of my Canucks, at least it wasn't the Kraken or the Golden Knights either

I have said earlier in the season, that Boston, looked like a team on a mission, however this season we've also seen a new trend in hockey, for a much faster speedy skating game, clearly the group of older vets are somehow able to keep up, or I doubt they would have the number of wins they have. I hope they plan on easing back a little before the playoffs, or they may go the same way as Carolina and Florida, in the last playoffs. There were a number of reasons, they did not get past the first or second round, but I do think that trying to power through it like they did during the season, just does not work.
Even though I don't like the Bruins they have been the luckiest team all season long, they been getting points in every game, hardly in no losing streak, and also finally hardly no injuries
