Right skate is off the ice so I’m assuming is the same hip issue.
This really blows. Wood hasn’t been nearly as sharp in the past few games, but he is still someone other teams had to account for. Zetturland was supposed to be a Miles Wood like guy (less speed, but more dangerous shot, and physical,) but has not been noticeable in the last 20 games or so. We really need another winger, we can’t keep trotting out Boqvist, he is not the answer.
Apparently Ruff just said that Wood will still travel to the California leg of the trip.
