I do agree that Lalonde has set a good foundation for the team. Need to improve especially on the offensive end as being ranked 24 out of 32 teams in goals scored per game is not going to win you too many. We can continue to talk about special teams and rightfully so but I think goal scoring is something that has to improve if this team wants to get better. I definitely think Yzerman will be looking for offensive talent at the trade deadline and also in the upcoming UFA market.
