That's right, Caulfield. When you're one on one with the Goalie, fake a few practice slapshot swings before shooting. Give Demko enough time to get out to the very top of his crease, get square and block your angle so when you finally let it go, it will go right into his mid-section. A quick wrist shot aimed for the open parts of the net, before he could shrink them by moving out on you would have been a higher percentage play. Snapshots aren't particularly accurate, or maybe you noticed.
Who else thinks Miller is making less brain dead turnovers compared to when Green was coaching?

How is the 3rd goal not 6 players on the ice? He is clearly standing on the ice waiting for a player to get on the bench, by doing that petry cannot go in that direction because there's a player, so his presence influences the play. I don't care who won the game, just wondering about the rule. Anyone with legit ref experience to explain?

Canucks don't need to make absolutely any moves. Unless they can get a rental RHD. Because if they make the Dance no team will want them 1st round or 2 nd.

That JT miller goal was like straight out of the late 90s/early 2000s.
Joe sakic, yzerman, markus naslund, and so many others used to score those fast paced quick snap shot from just outside the circles all the time (edit- i think many young shooters like boeser for example could benefit from that sort of play. You dont need to corral the puck perfectly before shooting. Sometimes just coming in with speed and letting that puck go quickly and off-beat can catch goalies off guard. Its not the prettiest of shots but its effective)
