I wish more people took the time to learn diacritics. In the case of Neci, learning what a ◌̌ does to a letter makes it easier to pronounce his name correctly, but it also removes doubt about how to pronounce other Slovak/Czech names in the league. Like Ondrej Kaše isn’t pronounced « case, » it’s more like « kahsha »
