Felt like it was going to be one of those: *can’t believe we lost that game* games…

Then we didn’t lose the game. Freaking sweet

  2. Seraphax

It was a rough game to watch, but I’m glad the boys pulled ahead in the end

  3. Apanic_Attacka

Halfway through the season and on pace for 100 points! No way I would have thought that after losing Fiala and how many career years we had last season

  4. letoiledunordstars

    needed that one badly

    gus rules

  5. charlton11

Now we have to cheer for the Flames and B’hawks to beat the Blues and Avs…

  6. NorthernPuck

Heck of a game by Gus. Calm, solid, and came up big many times tonight

  7. Stringathy

It’s simple, we need to keep scoring empty netters

  8. Durge88

Ngl they had us in the first

    And the second

And most of the third tbh

  9. CitizenStrife

It feels so weird being on the good side of a « Play like shit for 55 minutes, great for 5 » sort of game. Points are points

  10. essenceofpurity

The Islanders could not solve the riddle of steel tonight.

Fun hockey is fun when the Wild do that hockey.

At the half way point, we’re playing at exactly a 100 point pace.

Ek deserves a ton of credit for this W. Him willing his ass on the PK was 90% of that tying goal.

Gus is good. What else does this guy gotta do to be the starter?

Here’s to an even better 2nd half of the season!

I want Freddie Gaudreau to spend his whole career here. He’s legit.

  14. Points!!

I love how people are so anxious about this team all the time and here we are on pace for 100 points lmaoooooooo

  15. 3 things:

    1. That islanders goalie was incredible. Some of those saves were jaw dropping. Respect.

    2. I love we never gave up. Just kept attacking.

    3. I LOVE how happy Foligno was for Kap’s empty netter especially considering being robbed not long before. This team just has such a team vibe. It’s the best.

This game reminds me of the Carolina game earlier this year where we weren’t playing very well coming in and couldn’t catch a break. We just needed one thing to go right to jump start us. That game it was Kaprizov’s tying goal and the Goose OT winner. This one was the shorty by Freddy. Hopefully we’ll go on a winning streak like last time.

  17. Very happy with the grit we showed tonight. Wasn’t loving the first period but the boys really picked it up and finished strong. Solid road win.

  18. Man what a come from behind win, needed that one big time! 50 minutes of that game was brutal hockey by the Wild.

Boys need to feed off this one. Got a quick trip home and then back out east for a gauntlet of a road trip. Going to need to get the PP back up and going. 0-5 is not going to cut it against the elite teams and in the playoffs. LFG!!

  19. That goal by Freddy was a gut punch for the Isles, game flipped to us after that review.

Atta boy, Gus. Glad we turned this shit around. LGW

Russo was on KFAN just now saying Greenway may be on block now, Guess he wasnt sick on Sunday, he was scratched cause he missed meetings and showed up at 5:00 for 6:00 start time.
He also said he believes Dumba will be traded regardless of if Wild are in Playoff spot or not.

  22. the only good thing is that we scored more goals than them. Lot of things to be fixed especially pp.

Well also Gus improving game after game. Good thing he was unscathed by a fluky goal and was ready for the rest of the game

  23. blinktheskater

Pretty sure this was the first game I’ve gotten to watch all the way through in weeks. They looked off at times but we came away with the dub. Let’s go!!

  24. Puzzled-Confusion-82

I mean for how bad everyone seems to be saying we played they only gave up 18 shots. Scoring will come around, hopefully I’ll be here til it’s here. Ifykyk

  25. TheSkeletones

Not a single mention about our boy Sam Steel with his FIRST EVER 8TH GOAL OF THE SEASON
