I’m so confused by this. Did he have a history of attitude problems in Chicago? The only way this makes sense is if there’s off ice drama. Perhaps Strome isn’t as cool with wing as hes been saying publicly? Whatever it is, I can’t say I’m optimistic.

Mantha just sat a couple, so he’s got to rotate back in at some point. Eller and Johansson on the fourth line may mean they’re candidates for the next guys to be scratched. With all the forwards being healthy, somebody will end up sitting that may not necessarily deserve it. Every game is an opportunity for the non-stars to show why they should not be the next healthy scratch.
