They would probably want jiricek+ for him. Would love to have him but it wouldn’t be worth all that we would have to give up. If the jackets end up with like the 5th pick this year I wouldn’t mind packaging that for him

The asking price would be too high. As a great player, he is, getting him would be too expensive and he wouldn’t even fill the spot as a number 1 center due to his average faceoffs.
At most I would offer 2024 1st, Sillinger, Chinakhov, and Bemstrom. Maybe add 2nd rounder if it was almost there. This would obviously not go through but there’s no point breaking the bank over someone not named Mcdavid.
