I gotta say, as a DC sports fan, I respect the hell out of Philly fans. Sure you guys are horrible people throwing stink bombs, bracelets on the ice, snowballs at players, etc. But you guys genuinely care about your teams. DC fans are so fairweather and lethargic. There's no passion or energy here. I wish other fan groups hated us. It would mean we're doing something right.
i think the worst prt is the home town announcers acting like elliot can do or has done no wrong , the goalie situation has been a horror show since game 1 , elliot geeking the game in last min , or overtime or shootout , i dont care how many saves you have when they dont count i do care how many clutch slaves you have for this shows how you are going to performin a meaningless topic the playoffs , but neurvirth has a shut out doesnt get the following start , misses a shutout by 14 seconds does not get next start has ashutout and then bad game according to neurvirth standards five goals dont see him for eight games , in which the flyers loose 8 strait, scoring 4 goals in five of those games , if your loosing while scoring 4 goals how can you not question the goalie , let neurvirth play 8 in a row

I recall that Valtteri Filppula openly rejected a trade to the Leafs, not that I would have wanted him..maybe he rejected it because of his past experience with Babcock in Detroit but as a loyal fan of my team it kinda gives me a little joy that he's experiencing this brutal losing streak after that slight against Toronto.
