Steve, you're right. They're the 2nd best team every time it counts. To many soft plays again with the puck, Reilly on the 1st goal, Timmins on the 2nd & 3rd goal and Tavares on the winner. They do it to themselves..plus I'm tired of this team having little to no grit. Simmonds was one of their best players tonight and this was playoff style hockey.

the Leafs have proven that they can compete with Boston… I'd say, in a seven game series, Boston wins in 7… as usual.
How bad can you feel for Timmins? Leafs/Bruins, dad's road trip, poor guy was juggling hand grenades! But really Rielly needs to be there.or in a better position with speed he simply doesn't have, in those situations. I keep saying I cant believe they are paying him what they're paying him especially considering the PP is better when he's not on first unit. GLG

Just like Ullmark shouldn’t get anything for yeeting the stick behind the goal crease when Marner is backing away at the bottom of the circle. Not “in the direction of the puck” enough.
OTOH, if you think Ullmark should be penalized for losing his grip on his stick, then by all means also believe that Bunting should get something for that “kick”.
As a Bruins fan, this is the scariest Leafs team i've seen in the past bunch of seasons.
