   Bottom of the league in prospects and have been dogshit for 10 years, how does that make any sense?

   Key blurb from Wheeler on the overall state of the prospect pool:

   > Still, the Canucks have one of the shallowest prospect pools in the NHL for a second straight year, and despite having the highest-picked individual prospect to appear in this year’s countdown so far, that prospect has underperformed this season. Add in that Vancouver has made just two of six of their selections in the first two rounds of the last three drafts, plus some of the few decent prospects they did have aging out (Jack Rathbone, Linus Karlsson, Aidan McDonough) and you’re left with a pool that is back in the exact same spot in the rankings on the whole as they were last year.
