Ryan isn't enough. Foegelle or JP (plus parking a guy or two in the AHL (including Holloway AND Ryan)) would be enough for Evander Kane. They have to sell more to bring in someone else. Oh, parking 2 and selling one and moving Murray to LTIR gets us to a 20 man roster WITH Kane. The math is ugly. Again, congratulations on 10K.

Murray to LTIR
Ryan (or Janmark but he's doing great so Ryan), Holloway (unless we can keep him for 2nd line with Leon), and either Neims or Vinny down to the AHL

Can I make an observation?! A 4th line of JP, Foegle, and Derek Ryan is actually pretty killer IF they play 10+ minutes a game!!
Woodcroft has made the same horrible mistake that every coach before him has made: panicking over losses and mistakes and overplaying the top 6/9 at the expense of time and confidence in the bottom 6/3!
Last night Woodcroft balanced the lines a little better and lol and behold we did well!
Also, we don't need a new D guy now that we have VD up teaching Nurse how to defend a damn zone!
Also, if Vinnie doesn't stay in the roster this management is screwed in the dang head!!

not even lying, im a flames fan. i watch this channel for news cause i like hearing about news around the nhl. congrats on 10k though, im hoping the oilers and flames can pull themselves together so we can see a rematch in the playoffs this season. cheers!

Not too sure if I’m stoked on an oilers trade right now. I think if we’re patient vinnie deharnes and Philip broberg might answer some of the oilers defensive woes. I really hope Holland waits for a moment to see what happens with these guys before they make a big move for some more expensive options.
I’d we traded Nurse and retained half his salary we’d be in the black real quick.
