Three way tie between Beniers, Gourde, and McCann
Matty B because he always looks like he wants the puck on his stick and remains calm cool and collected while doing it – making good decisions.
We have other players who look like they want the puck off their stick before it even gets there (Wennberg) and others who want the puck but can’t actually hold onto it without a turnover (Burky) so seeing Matty B play the way he does in his rookie season is incredibly inspiring to me.
Dunn and McCann were my immediate favorites at the beginning of last season, and I’ve added Yanni and Matty to that list. But honestly I love the whole team so much, I really feel like we’ve built something special here
McCann. So happy to cheer for him again
Sprong. Dude plays hard. Always seems to get one or two breakaways a game. Puts pressure on the other team.
Idk if he’s there yet, but Tolvanen is quickly becoming my favorite player to watch. (See flair as evidence). I want him to score in every game so badly and he has such an electric shot it’s just cool seeing him score goals. He also just seems like a cool guy and is fitting in with the rest of the team really well
Just wanna point out how lucky we are to have such great depth that there is no consensus on our best player.
My favorite is Beniers, because he’s our first player who is clearly Kraken through-and-through. Our first ever real draft pick, he’s the player who can “legitimize” the team and really become the identity people associate with the Kraken. Not to mention how good and exciting he is to watch. His future is very very bright.
I also really like Tanev. He’s a great personality and although he doesn’t show up on the score sheet a ton, he’s great support and fun to watch. Also good at drawing penalties and getting us on the PP (although that might not be a good thing for us lol). I’m glad this team has him.

Actually my favorite Kraken is Buoy haha
Adam Larsson. He does his job quietly, but very well. He also seems like a cool guy, even though he rarely smiles and seems to barely tolerate interviews, etc. When I read r/hockey, the Devils and Oilers fans miss him still.
I enjoy watching Tanev and Gourde. So much energy and chippiness.
Sprong has been my guy from game 1. You can tell he just plays hard. He’s always looking to put the puck in front of the goal too.

Beniers is my favorite player now, last season it was McCann or Donato. If I had to do a top five, Beniers, Donato, McCann, Bjorkstrand, and either Dunn or Wright.

Between Beniers, Eberle and Jones. Beneirs first the Eberle and Jones tied.
Gourde, Tanev, and Mattie are my favs! Bought a gourde sweater last year. Love how passionate and hard working all three of those guys seem to be out there
Geekie, he’s just a goofy guy in his interviews. I want him to do well every time he’s on the ice.
Vince Dunn is a close second.
Gourde by a long shot. His story to the NHL is nothing but inspiring. He’s got his name on the cup… twice… he works hard, plays up to better teams, isn’t afraid at all to be physical or drop the gloves against a bigger player if need be and always has a big shit eating grin on his face.
His energy, work ethic and irreverence, I think are defining characteristics of the team.
