He’s not wrong about any of this.

I have a hard time when JR says he’s just realizing we need major changes not minor changes. How did it take a year to come to that conclusion? It’s like they tried throwing more forwards at our defense problem and when that didn’t work realized they might actually have to address the roster.

I’ve said it in previous posts but the way Benning constructed this roster can’t be taken apart piece by piece. You need to strap some TNT to the sucker and blow it up at the base. Trading Miller for future assets would have been that torpedo we needed, but now he’s been solidified as part of the problem moving forward. The cap space and assets would have been a big start to moving in the direction we need to go. Now we have to hope they hit a homerun on a Horvat or Kuz rental deal, even though every GM in the league just watched Rutherford announce they have no fucking clue what they’re doing. Some team is licking their lips seeing us limp into negotiations with no leverage.

I feel like I’ve seen the same press conference yesterday that I’ve seen for a decade. Retool not rebuild. You can’t cheat the hard part of building a winning team. If some dude woke up from a multi year coma and you told him we have an entirely new management team in place, and they looked at the roster and the missing draft picks from our cupboard and our dead last prospect pool, there’s no way they wouldn’t believe it’s still just Jim Benning running the show.

[Craig also spoke on Donnie and Dhali](https://youtu.be/gBm1j4KA-ns).

Called Rutherford’s treatment of Bruce « deplorable. » Cited the lack of human decency from the Rutherford show.
