Mek with the best get Fekked like the rest!

*No Kap, Capping the Capitols to Cap his goal total to 100. Thus, no Kap Cap at the Hockey Lodge but we win!*

  2. Arkady-Ouromov

Wish we played everyone like we play eastern conference teams. That was a beauty.

Always love the Caps broadcast, lot of praise for the other team from them.

  3. Now do the same thing next Tuesday, pretty please.

  4. twiggz612

FUCKING EVERYONE GET ON, GUS BUS LEAVING THE STATION!

  5. EvilJ1982

    I like the Minnesota Wild.

They are my favorite hockey team.

When they win, I think to myself, **’yes’**.

When they lose, I think to myself ‘no’.

  6. _BeerAndCheese_

Holy fuckin moly the Gus Bus is real jesus christ I don’t even

  7. TheSkeletones

Everyone who said that Greenway and Foligno were “disposable”: look no further than this game to see the error of your ways. GREEF line just shut down one of the best scoring teams, and kept THE best scorer in the league to no goals.

  8. dollabillkirill

Gus for Vezina? I think yes

  9. Seraphax

Caps broadcasters criticized us for having a weak schedule just before the game, guess they can go eat crow now. 🤡

  10. letoiledunordstars

rough start turned into a solid win!

love to see all our goals scored by our 3 best defensive players, a great game from gus, and winning after getting scored on first

  11. mrcba333

Caps fan coming in peace, yall outplayed us and was definitely a fun game to watch, but can we talk about that save off the skate? That could be save of the year!! GG bois, hope you keep winning (of course not against us)

  12. HerbalAndy

Gus is the real deal. I’ve been hesitant to say so but there is something about this team and making decent goalies look great.. also captain Spurg is playing phenomenal for the last like 10 games. LFGW

Edit: also the boys have been winning without much production from the 1st line.. DEPTH

  13. twiggz612

2 or fewer goals against for Gus now in I believe 10 of the last 12? Gotta double check that

Edit: Yup this was his 10th. Good for him, dude is playing out of his mind.

  14. spinorama29

Coulda used a Caps loser point but got half of what i wanted tonight. A wild W. My two fav teams never disappoint when they meetup

  15. LevelHeadedFreak

Next time we go 11 F and 7 D, how about we give Brodin a shot at winger instead.

  16. TheSkeletones

It’s also insane how sports ages people. Ovi is 38 years old and looks like he’s 50+.

  17. MinnesotaHockeyGuy

Just hop on the **Gus Bus**~~,Gus~~

  18. Panarin10

The trade for Gus has been Guerin’s best move as a GM thus far.

  19. twiggz612

I mean what an absolute robbery of a trade by BG. The Sens gave up too quick.

  20. stumpybubba

    #gussy 🥵

way too fucking persevere there guys! really put it together during the second and were able to finish it up in the third!

  21. Fuck yes boys!! What a way to start the road-trip!! Gus Bus stole us that game! Boys were definitely on the ropes much of the game but Gus had some MASSIVE saves in key moments!!

GREEF line had a great night, Boldy and Duhaime had good games as well. Glad to get scoring coming from the d-men! Nice to get a win in a game that for much of it the Wild didn’t look good. Gotta wait a little longer for KK’s 100 but we’ll definitely take the W!!

More good news is that the Jets lost tonight too!!

  22. GuntersTag

Not only did we pick up a win I now get to talk smack to my step son who is a caps fan. I feel all warm and fuzzy

  23. We don’t pay taxes in Minnesota.

Defenders decided that this game they just scored goals, leaving it up to Gus to stop goals, a task he was perfectly up to. This is a solid win against a strong team, something to build up from. Make that 3Ws in a row and the perfect start for the road trip. That Brodin goal was a beauty, the 4th line really came to play tonight.

I think that the late 3rd period line GEEF squad (Gaudreau Foligno JEEk) might be here to stay of Jordan Greenway is gone, which seems likely a cap casualty alongside Matt Dumba. I also would love to see how Duhaime works with Foligno and JEEk.

  24. RedGenie87

Can only imagine how many goals Fleury would have let in tonight. 7. The answer is 7. And this sub would be like, 6 of them weren’t his fault!!

  25. norskracer98

I love our Swedes so much. And Spurgeon.
Those are the kind of games we need to be able to win if we want any success play off wise. That one was nervy but it was a ton of fun at the same time. I love this team.

  26. Seraphax

Good news everyone, Winnipeg got spanked by the Habs tonight 😄

  27. coffeeeprincess

i wanted to witness kap’s 100th so bad but at least i got to see a win for the 2nd year in a row!

  28. TheSkeletones

Jets also lost and Stars didn’t play. Only 5 points separates the Wild from 1st in the division AND conference.

    #ALL ABOARD THE HYPE TRAIN

  29. Core1109

Great game to be at. Happy to see the hometown team win!

  30. Katyinmpls

Connor Dewar is going to fight a shark

  31. raze_525

Fuck yea! Great game. Had a ton of fun shit talking back and forth with caps fans around me!
