He’s let in this exact same goal like 4 or 5 times in the past year. It does appear that he straps his glove loosely, but also after so many times you have to change something up

You just feel bad for the guy. Soup doesn't always have the best luck with his glove.
In this case, it looked like a random bounce, so Soup didn't really do anything wrong, he put his glove where the puck was going to be, just like what any goalie would do.
Mike Smith would have been waving his arms and yelling at the defense .
